The Phonics Typeface Teaching Sound Letter Correspondence
SeeType is the first dynamic phonetic font that harnesses variable font technology to teach phonetics while in the context of reading. SeeType cues new readers to hearing the sounds associated to letters. For example, if you were reading on-screen and could not remember what sound the letter "p" made, the user simply rolls over the letter. It will immediately morph into familiar images with that same sound. Saying these images aloud cues beginning readers to hearing the sound associated with the letter.

Designed, Distinct Characters
SeeType visualizes the forty-four phonetic sounds that comprise the English language in order to aid these emerging readers, in decoding letters and words. English is a complex system of sounds consisting of: Single consonants, short & long vowels, double consonants, two & three consonant blends, consonant digraphs, ending consonant digraphs/trigraphs, magic/silent-e, vowel teams, R/L/W-influenced vowels, vowel diphthongs, ambiguous vowels, schwa, silent-letter combinations, consonant-connecting vowel combinations. Each sound icon (SeeType), consists of at least two to three associating icons.
